A teenager is in a serious condition after getting trapped under a double-decker bus outside St James Park on Tuesday night.The 18-year-old female was taken to hospital after suffering spinal injuries during the incident, which occurred followingNewcastle Uniteds 2-1 win over Manchester City.

Officers are now keen to hear from anybody who witnessed the collision, which occurred shortly after Newcastles 2-1 victory over Manchester City.A number of people are thought to have been in the area at the time of the incident, and police are especially keen for anybody who has dashcam footage of the collision to come forward.Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 1076 290119 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.The incident took place shortly after Newcastle defeated Manchester City in the Premier League, with Salomon Rondon and Matt Ritchie securing the Magpies a shock victory after Sergio Aguero opened the scoring for the visitors.
