Maurico Pochettino is the perfect manager for the Manchester United job and could even move there at the end of the season, according to two former Premier League stars.Recent reports have claimed United chiefs see Tottenham boss Pochettino as the only contender to replace under-fire Jose Mourinho, and are willing to pay 40million to bring the Argentine to Old Trafford.2

Former Tottenham defender Jason Cundy and ex-United goalkeeper Mark Bosnich joined talkSPORT to discuss the rumours on Friday morning, and both agreed the move could be likely.Cundy believes Pochettino would excel as Man United manager given his success in charge of Tottenham with a relatively low budget.And Bosnich believes the appointment could happen as soon as this summer, should Mourinho fail to win a trophy or achieve a top four finish this season.Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, former Spurs and Chelsea defender Cundy said: Pochettino has been punching above his weight at Spurs in terms of the financial battle he has with the sides around him.He hasnt got the same money as Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal or the two Manchester clubs, yet he keeps getting that side performing to the absolute maximum.Coupled with that, theyve had the problem of not having a natural home. Theyve gone to Wembley and I think theyve done brilliantly, absolutely brilliantly.2

While they may not have won any silverware, what Mauricio Pochettino has achieved at Tottenham is incredible
