Martial was not part of that matchday squad, and United will reportedly actively listen to offers for the France international in this transfer window. The Red Devils bought a then 19-year-old Martial from Monaco back in 2015 in a world record deal for a teenager worth 36million rising to 57.6m – based on goals and achievements. Martial scored 17 goals in his maiden season in Manchester, but he has failed to live up to expectations since then.He signed a new five-year contract in January, with his previous deal due to run out at the end of next season. A number of suitors were understood to be eyeing a move for the young forward.
