Pedro Onate, Chile’s physiotherapist, told El Mercurio: We communicated with the player, he has had his scans and thats the injury there will be no problems for him to play in the Copa American (this summer) because it will be six to eight weeks without playing.The medial ligament is a troublesome injury but no so complex. Solskjaer confirmed that Sanchez faces up to six weeks on the sidelines.The Norwegian told a press conference: “It was a bad knee injury so if it’s four weeks or six, hopefully he’ll recover quickly.”Sanchez joins Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Matteo Darmian, Phil Jones and Antonio Valencia on United’s injury list.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side travel to Paris Saint-Germain for the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash on Wednesday.They will also be without Paul Pogba, who is suspended after picking up two yellow cards in the first leg defeat by the Ligue 1 champions.
